The questions private lenders actually ask.

What LoanConsole is
Post-close servicing software for hard-money and private real-estate lenders. It records servicing activity and never moves or holds funds — not an LOS, CRM, payment processor, or fund-accounting suite.
Business-purpose, real-estate-backed loans serviced monthly — hard-money, bridge, fix-and-flip, and private CRE, including deal-by-deal investor-capital structures. It's built for books with extensions, investor participation, reserves, and balloon payoffs. It's not built for consumer mortgages or amortizing retail loan products.
No. LoanConsole is built around the post-close servicing record. It can accept a closed deal from its lightweight draft area, but it is not a CRM, underwriting engine, pricing engine, or full loan-origination system.
Yes. A guided import wizard walks a workbook through upload, validation, review, and an all-or-nothing commit, with forgiving money and date handling and a reconciliation total before you confirm. There's no heavy migration project.
LoanConsole stores the day-count basis with each loan — including Actual/365, Actual/360, and 30/360 where applicable — and applies it consistently across accruals, invoices, statements, reserves, and payoff. The convention your documents require is a decision for the loan documents and your advisers.
Your organization can configure whether statements emphasize amounts currently due, accrued interest, or both. That setting controls how the statement communicates the record; it does not change the underlying accrual calculation.
Extensions, rate changes, forbearance, deferral, capitalization, advances, and paydowns post as dated events with a before/after preview. The prior state stays available in history, and posting into a closed period is blocked.
Yes. Each loan carries its investor positions, and share, principal, net rate, and interest are computed for you. Assignments, buyouts, investor additions and exits, non-pro-rata capital activity, and recapitalizations are handled as events without overwriting the prior ownership record.
You work from the receivable, apply the configured grace period and late-fee rule, document the follow-up, and preserve reversals. Enforceability, notice language, rate limits, and default remedies depend on your loan documents and applicable law.
Property details, coverage status, expiration dates, supporting documents, and follow-up signals stay attached to the loan. LoanConsole records loan, reserve, and servicing activity — including for fix-and-flip and rehab loans — but it does not manage construction inspections, project budgets, or field draw approvals. This is a collateral and insurance record, not a construction-management system.
Each gets a separate, read-only view scoped to only their own records. Borrowers see their own loans and invoices; investors see their own investments, statements, and distributions — never a co-investor's position, and never your servicing economics.
No. LoanConsole records servicing activity and payments that occurred elsewhere. It does not provide borrower-payment rails, initiate disbursements, connect to customer bank accounts, or custody client funds.
You generate a payoff letter with an itemized payout and a per-diem figure computed on the loan's day-count basis. Saved payoffs are preserved records. A paid-off loan still counts as a tracked loan while its servicing history, statements, and payoff records remain available; its history stays intact in the book and the year-end record.
Your data can be exported at any time through self-service CSV and XLSX files covering the loan book, investments, monthly activity, accounting, payments, and fees. Exports remain available during a billing-related read-only period.
Accounts use email and password with optional TOTP two-factor, and Reviewer/Admin/Owner roles separate what each teammate can view or change. Covered operating-record changes are captured with the actor, timestamp, and before-and-after values. See the Security page for the full detail.
